Dial First Number Only

Since the first number on each contact is likely to be the right number, is there any way that we can get a dialing option to dial only the first number on each contact? I feel like I have a lower response rate when the system starts to dial the other phone numbers listed on the contact since most of the time those numbers are disconnected or no longer in service.
